A&E’s Roger Hazard, official Custom Cupboards design consultant, to welcome dealers, show attendees

CHICAGO, April 24, 2012 — Custom Cupboards today announced a new line of exotic wood veneers and high gloss finishes for its kitchen cabinet products — part of its spring product launch at the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show here. The company has also announced an alliance with A&E’s Roger Hazard, who is Custom Cupboards’ new official design consultant.

Custom Cupboards’ Artisan Collection color and finishes palette, a color matching program and a new cabinet design are part of the spring launch, as well.

A special private reception for dealers is set for tomorrow evening. Hazard will speak at that event, and will be at the Custom Cupboards display in the Hafele booth all day Wednesday.

Most of the fresh offerings result from direct dealer feedback, says Custom Cupboards president and Chicago native Mael Hernandez.

“We are focused on helping our dealer partners grow in this tough economy. Introducing new products and services distinguishes them from competitors — so they can sell more cabinets, more profitably,” says Hernandez.

  •  Natural bird’s-eye maple
  •  Reconstituted rosewood
  •  Narrow stave caramelized bamboo
  •  Reconstituted zebra
  •  Quarter sawn black walnut

About Custom Cupboards
Custom Cupboards focuses on innovation, flexibility, lean manufacturing, beautiful design, quality and value — and helping more dealers sell more dream kitchens to more customers. The company is led by chief executive officer Ron Henry and president Mael Hernandez — whom Henry had recruited in 2010 as vice president - sales and marketing. Ron Henry and his brother, Dan Henry, founded the privately held company in 1981 in Wichita, Kan. They began with a commitment to customer service and to making beautiful cabinets. Within two years, the business outgrew its original 3,000 square-foot building. Today, it operates in a 200,000 square-foot, company-owned manufacturing facility. Custom Cupboards’ cabinets, vanities and custom kitchens are in homes throughout the U.S.

Ever since our founding in 1981, Custom Cupboards has been focused on delivering high-quality, beautiful cabinetry that enhances the heart and soul of our customer's homes.  As time has passed we have grown, changed and adjusted, but several things remain the same:  Our commitment to being a family-run and family-oriented company.  That we take care of our customers and help them achieve their dreams, dreams they sometimes wait a lifetime to realize.

That providing an uncompromising value, unique choices and exceptional customer service is not just some fancy saying, it is our promise. For many businesses, there comes a time when changes must occur to better share their story and reflect their core beliefs.  For us, our change is about communicating that we make more than just boxes, we make beautiful kitchens and we will work to make every step of selecting custom cabinetry as simple as possible for our customers.
