Paint Kitchen Team Lead

The Paint Kitchen Team Lead ensures paint color integrity, production of quality products, and manages the activities of the paint kitchen including supervising four team members. This individual works closely with all Finish and ESO personnel and will report to the Group Lead, Finish Support.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise four team members
• Manage material flow to/from paint kitchen to the floor
• Oversee waste management including waste drums
• Organize, label and manage kitchen product and bulk storage room including inventory
• management
• Complete daily paperwork and report activity as requested
• Must be willing to work overtime, be punctual and have reliable transportation

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Paint mixing experience is required.
• Working knowledge of small hand tools, tape measure and scales (pounds).
• Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs. Job requires standing, bending and stooping.
• Demonstrated skills in organization, planning, prioritization and time management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Dependable and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks and completing tasks in a timely manner.
• Work calmly under stress to meet deadlines.
• Must be able to take direction and possess a willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused.
• Must be committed to working with others in a team environment and adjust schedule as necessary to cover for employee vacations and absences.

Job Qualifications and Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Previous supervisory experience is required
• Three to five years’ experience in weighing, mixing, monitoring, inventorying and working with
• bulk color products is preferred
• Intermediate level knowledge of computer including, Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
